Beautiful Ruffle, Lace and Sugar Flowers Wedding Cake for Maria and Dean
On Saturday I created this beautiful wedding cake for Maria and Dean at Peak Edge Hotel.
I had a lovely appointment with Maria and her sister last year and we came up with this design together over lots of tea and cake!
Beautifully classic wedding cake design with hand piped lace and a rosette ruffle base tier (a looser and more informal ruffle to the standard petal ruffle) I also created a large posy of sugar flowers for the top of the cake to match Maria's bouquet by Kerry atTineke Floral Designs Limited
All tiers were Very Berry Cake infused with raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants and blueberries with berry and vanilla pod buttercream and white chocolate ganache.
