Deep pink wedding cake with pleats and pearls for Fiona and Karl
Really loved creating this beautiful wedding cake for Fiona and Karl who got married in the sunshiney garden room at Alison House Hotel on Saturday.
The couple and I designed this lovely wedding cake in our appointment together comprising of a drop piped pearl bottom tier, pleated middle tier and staggered piped pearl top tier with lots of beautiful sugar flowers to compliment the bridal bouquets with deep pink roses, white and pink lisanthius and some foliage.
They chose flavours of Zesty Lemon and Lime with lemon and lime drizzle syrup, lemon and lime curd and lemon buttercream, Elderflower and Prosecco with prosecco syrup, elderflower curd and vanilla pod buttercream and Salted Caramel with a dark sugar syrup, salted caramel and vanilla pod buttercream.
