Absolutely stunning wedding cake for Rebecca and Matt at Newstead Abbey
Yesterday I created this truly beautiful wedding cake for the lovely Rebecca and Matt who got married at Newstead Abbey with a reception at her mum's house.
We designed this wedding cake together which featured beautiful sugar rose ruffles on the base tier (matching their paper flower wall behind the top table) super sparkles on one tier, satin soft lustre with royal iced lace and clear sparkles. Dressed with lots of beautiful fresh flowers from their florist - Floral Imaginarium
Tiers of - Cherry Bakewell with black morello cherry conserve, toasted flaked almonds and vanilla pod buttercream, Zesty Lemon and Lime with lemon drizzle syrup, lime curd and lemon buttercream, Salted Caramel with dark sugar syrup, salted caramel and vanilla pod buttercream, and Chocolate Mud with salted caramel, vanilla pod buttercream and belgian dark chocolate ganache.
The marquee looked absolutely stunning with the most incredible hanging floral installation and amazing delicious catering being prepared by Fiona Herbert Catering
