Stunning rose ruffle, champagne sequin and semi naked wedding cake with fresh flowers for Nicola and Leigh
I absolutely loved creating this wedding cake yesterday for Nicola and Leigh who got married at the wonderful The White Hart Moorwood Moor
We designed this beautiful wedding cake together with a slight tweak half way through the process after Nicola saw a wedding cake I made last August that she fell in love with even more!
Sugar rose ruffles on the base tier, champagne sequins on the middle tier and a semi naked top tier with champagne soft metallic painted top and bottom of the tier. Finished off perfectly with some beautiful flowers from 14BFlorists (seriously wish there was a scratch and sniff option on Facebook, O'hara roses smell simply DIVINE!!!) Beautiful topper and log chunk cake stand supplied by the bride <3
The couple chose tiers of : Zesty Lemon and Lime with lemon drizzle syrup, lime curd and lemon and lime buttercream, Madagascan Vanilla with raspberry preserve and vanilla pod buttercream and Raspberry and Prosecco, infused with raspberries with prosecco and chambord syrup, raspberry preserve and vanilla pod buttercream.
They also had some delicious chocolate mud cake pops for the kids and a few spare for some grown ups too!
